The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 29 ships are currently discharging petroleum products and other commodities at the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos.

According to the NPA, eight of the vessels are laden with petroleum products, including petrol, diesel, aviation fuel and bulk gas.

The authority added that the remaining 21 ships are discharging various cargoes such as buckwheat, fresh fish, trucks, containers, general cargo and base oil.
