The Labour Party has congratulated the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, on his third anniversary in office on May 29, 2026, describing his administration as a model of good governance and a source of pride to the party.

In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Ken Eluma Asogwa, the party said Otti has, in the past three years, shown strong leadership and delivered visible progress across key sectors of Abia State’s economy.

It noted that the governor remains one of the party’s standout successes from the 2023 general elections, adding that his performance has continued to attract commendation within and outside the state.

According to the statement, Otti’s achievements have been widely acknowledged by governance observers and rating organisations, with several placing him among Nigeria’s top-performing governors.

The party said it was proud of his accomplishments, describing his administration as a reference point for accountability, purposeful leadership, and effective service delivery.

It also commended him for staying focused on his development agenda despite political distractions and challenges inherited from previous administrations.

The Labour Party said Otti’s determination and commitment to improving the lives of Abia residents have continued to inspire confidence and strengthen support for his leadership.

Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, the party expressed confidence that the people of Abia State would continue to support his transformational leadership.

One of his achievements in Abia State, Dr Alex Otti has commissioned 14 newly roads projects.

It congratulated the governor on the milestone and wished him greater success in office.
