Kaduna State MILPOPPROF Restates Commitment To National Security

The Military, Police and Paramilitary Public Relations Officers Forum, MILPOPPROF has reiterated its commitment towards strengthening synergy and enhancing cooperation between “ESPRIT DE CORPS” to foster Inter Agency Collaboration, cooperation and networking among spokespersons.

This was contained in a statement by the MILPOPPROF Public Relations Officer, Hauwa Mamu  on Friday, July 5,2024.

It stated: “In a-strategic meeting at the EFCC Kaduna Zonal Directorate, Chief Facilitator of the Forum SC. AS Portia Aji in a statement notes that, the umbrella body of the image managers of all security agencies in Nigeria was established to promote National Security through synergy, intelligence sharing and professional activities geared toward enhancing the operational capacity of members”

The Chief Facilitator highlights that, the forum  will be organizing joint seminars for agencies’ ranks and file, inter-agency sporting activities, including quarterly PR training to update spokespersons on how to keep up with new trends in the field.

According to the statement, the Forum will also be visiting training institutions to interface with trainees on recruit and refresher courses to showcase synergy and teach them the role of each agency in the National Security architecture.

The Zonal Director, EFCC Kaduna Dr Benedict Ubi underscores the importance of the Public Relations, PR considering the critical roles they play as image makers, and reputational managers of an organization. 

He further said  that, the duty of policing Nigeria is a task that requires collaboration and synergy among all the security agencies in the country, stressing that, the security agencies must synergize together for the project Nigeria to fight her common enemies.

The meeting ended with an election of EXCOs to fill the existing vacuum in the leadership of the Forum: SC H Badamasi of NSCDC was elected as the Assistant Chief Facilitator, SC I Sulaiman of NCS as the Secretary, ASP Mansur Hassan of NPF as Assistant Secretary, DSC E Abutu of NCoS as Assistant Financial Secretary.

Others are Hauwa Mamu of DSS as the forum’s PRO and Jamila Iliyasu of KASTLEA as Assistant PRO. SC R Yusuf as ICT Desk while AS Portia of NCoS and Zainab Sani Ahmed of EFCC retained their positions as the Chief Facilitator and Financial Secretary respectively.
