The federal government of Nigeria, President Ahmed Tinubu has approved the sum of N90 billion Naira for religion tour outside the country.

Some Nigerians criticized  the idea saying “if the person can afford it., let him go on his / her own. To get fund from the public purse to fond  out the private affair is a no no for me with all due respect to the Religion.

“It also says individuals and organizations to be free to fund their religious activities but the government’s resources should not be used should be used for the greater good of all citizens are not just a select”

He further explained that Nigerian Society of which they have religious affiliations with is not good for Nigerian stability. 90 billion it is too much.

By thinking in nutshell, Niger’s are united on this saying that religion is personal. And the truth is that whoever wants to go for any type of pilgrimage to Jerusalem or to Saudi Arabia to wherever it is going to do. 

It should be a personal decision. Government has to be especially this critical time when there was abundance when oil money boom was there was a boom.Your holy book did not put a component to it. More stories loading….
