Apapa Customs Controller Joins NDLEA  On Sensitization Walk  Against Drug Abuse,  Trafficking

The Customs Area Controller (CAC) Comptroller Babatunde Olomu  PHD FSL has taken  collaboration with sister agencies a notch higher by participating  on sensitization Walk Against Drugs Abuse,

trafficking.

The Public Relations Officer of the Command, CSC Abubakar Usman disclosed this Today Tuesday, June 25  in a statement.

 According to him, “the CAC joined the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command, and other government agencies in the port to bring awareness on the dangers inherent in drug abuse in Commemoration of 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.”

The participants moved from Apapa Area Command gate, through wharf road to Liverpool road in Lagos With placards and flyers in their hands. 

 The  Comptroller noted that such collaboration between sister agencies of government is crucial for intelligence sharing and ensuring public safety.

He described drug abuse as an evil tormenting  the society and further maintained that by working together, security agencies can achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone.
