Ambassador Aduda Pledges To Take The Ministry of Defence To The Next Level

An assurance has been given to improve on the legacies and performance index of the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar.
The new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Ambassador Gabriel Tanimu Aduda gave the undertaking at the Ship House, Abuja, during a brief handing-over ceremony by the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Kana.
The new Permanent Secretary said his return to the Ministry of Defence is like a home-coming because he is a product of a military background with a good knowledge of military veterans and their destiny.
“In addition, with the very good testimonies about the achievements of Dr. Kana, we shall take it further to the next level so that his efforts will not be in vain,” the new Permanent Secretary assured.
While calling for honesty amongst the staff of the Ministry which is the key to success in all endeavours, he promised to build on the foundation which Kana laid as well as effect added value in the system.
According to a statement from Henshaw Ogubuike, Director of Press, Ministry of Defence, Amb. Aduda further called for excellence, courage and commitment to duty. Restating  that he does not joke with the welfare of his staff, he solicited for cooperation in all ramifications.
