Truçcks Transit Parks Ltd. (TTP) says it is positioning to partner West African governments to harmonise logistics and drive seamless trade under AfCFTA .
- Mr Jama Onwubuariri, Managing Director and Co-founder of TTP, disclosed this at a news conference in Lagos, highlighting the company’s achievements⇐with the Ètò traffic management platform and regional expansion plans.

He said the roadmap would deepen efficiency at Nigerian ports through continuous technology and infrastructure upgrades, smarter data use, and stronger collaboration with enforcement agencies.
Onwubuariri added that the plan also includes expanding digital systems such as Electronic-tags, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID), and Artificial Intelligence-driven compliance.
This, he explained, would improve traffic control, safety standards, and overall logistics security.
“This roadmap is ambitious, but it is necessary if Nigeria is to remain competitive and if West Africa is to unlock its full trade potential.
We will achieve it,” he said.
The TTP boss stressed that Nigeria remained central to Africa’s growth.
“Nigeria is not just the giant, but also the heartbeat of Africa. If you want to check Africa, come here.”he noted.
Onwubuariri recalled his recent trip across the ECOWAS subregion, describing it as sobering yet inspiring.
He added, “From Lagos to Ouagadougou, Abidjan, and Monrovia, the story is similar.”
According to him, the region still suffers from heavy trucking dependence, bottlenecks at borders, toll delays, and weak highway infrastructure — challenges that raise trade costs and reduce efficiency.
“The traffic management platform TTP has built in Nigeria is not just a national solution. Ètò is a model that would be scaled regionally.
“Imagine if every ECOWAS country operated harmonised port truck scheduling, rest stops, and electronic tolling systems supporting multiple currencies.
“Goods will move faster, trade will be cheaper, and AfCFTA closer.”
“TTP stands ready to collaborate with ECOWAS and regional governments in deploying technology that will make seamless intra-African trade not just a vision, but a reality,” he said.
Onwubuariri also announced plans for a proposed network of trailer parks and logistics hubs in Nigeria, designed to improve truck driver welfare and reduce congestion.
He described the hubs as gated facilities where drivers will access hostels, recreation centres, and modern conveniences, enabling them to rest, recharge, and network with ease.
According to him, the company will collaborate with state governments to deliver the project, which will ease traffic congestion around ports and highways while improving road safety.
