***As Stakeholders Warm Up for the 2024 SEDS

The management of WideScooe International Logistics Limited has indicated interest to partner with News Emperor magazine in its maiden edition of the Students Entrepreneurial Development Seminar (SEDS ) 2024  which is coming up on Thursday June 2024, saying their foundation has similar plan to train Nigerian youths within the maritime transport sector of the economy.

The Managing Director MD of the international conglomerate, a veteran freight forwarder and a versatile Transport, while speaking with the publisher of News Emperor magazine in his office recently in Lagos, the logistics expert gave the company’s full backing out Support for the seminar, promising also to sponsor over 100 students to participate in forthcoming seminar. 

For having the same initiative and zeal to further promote and encourage Nigerian graduates, undergraduates students as well as youthful entreprenureship to gain knowledge of the marine and blue economy sector and tap from its numerous opportunities, the management of WideScooe International Logistics Limited boss disclosed that his company and foundation are going to partner with the management of Richword Communication and Media Services, the publishers of News Emperor magazine in its maiden edition of the SEDS.

The MD and Chief Executive Officer, WideScooe, Alhaji (Dr.) Segun Musa while interacting with the Publisher of News Emperor Magazine, Pastor Ambrose Obioma Okehi in his office said the the idea is a good idea must be supported.

Equally, maritime Stakeholders, entrepreneures and captains of industry as well as Nigerian youths and students are already warming up for maiden edition of the SEDS, promising good outing.

But according to Alhaji Segun Musa, this is a very nice project. I think we are having similar or the same plan, we at WideScooe International Logistics Limited which we are trying to do through our foundation. We are trying to catch them young. The youths at the grassroot levels. Let them be trained in the maritime transport sector”.

Dr Musa noted that he wanted to use his 35 years experience in the transport sector to really impact a lot of the Nigerian youths as part of his own contribution and his company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to his people.

The widely read Logistics expert is also of the view that the more we catch them young and train them at the grassroot level in the transport related areas, the better it would be for the sector and the country entirely.

He said: ” I think we will partner with you in the regards. The seminar you are having is in line with what we are having in mind in our foundation, to train youths in this country,”
