According to Chief Mrs. Chinwe Ezenwa, founder and CEO of Le Look Nigeria Limited, the anniversary celebration is a milestone that highlights the company’s resilience, creativity, and commitment to Nigerian enterprise.

Founded in1985, Le Look has grown from a small women-led business to a proudly Nigerian manufacturer, exporting unique, locally crafted bags to international markets.

Over the years, Le Look has stayed true to its mission of strengthening local manufacturing, creating jobs, and transferring skills to women and youth.

The company has also supported Nigeria’s non-oil export drive and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) agenda.

The anniversary celebration will feature keynote addresses, fireside conversations with veteran entrepreneurs, and panel sessions on business longevity, AfCFTA readiness, and youth and women forums on inclusive business practices.

Exhibitions by government and trade agencies will also be part of the activities.

Le Look Nigeria Limited has made significant strides in promoting African culture and sensibility through its handbags, crafted from African prints.

The company has also established the Le Look Bags Academy, which provides training and skills acquisition programs in Abuja, Enugu, and Lagos.

Through its partnerships with international and government institutions, Le Look has promoted trade and built capacities for the continent. The company has received several accolades, including the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate from the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and the Certificate of Origin to trade across Africa under the AfCFTA guided trade initiative.

The company’s success story serves as a testament to the power of entrepreneurship in driving economic growth and empowering individuals. As Ezenwa noted, “Our philosophy is simple – to be the first and foremost African luxury brand with global reach.
