The serene town of Agbere, in Bayelsa state, witnessed a remarkable event as Captain Warredi Enisuoh bid a poignant farewell to his mother, Madam Theresa Virginia Enisuoh, in a grand burial ceremony on Saturday, April 27th, 2024. Madam Enisuoh, who passed away on March 21st, 2024, was laid to rest amidst a colorful gathering that drew dignitaries from far and wide.

The ceremony, graced by Bayelsa state government officials, top executives of Tantita Security Services Company, representatives of NIMASA, traditional rulers, maritime media, and locals, showcased a rare display of love and solidarity for the bereaved family. Reverend Father Cletus Okonkwo, who officiated the final rites, praised the deceased as a woman of peace.

At the reception, Captain Warredi Enisuoh and other relatives fondly reminisced about Madam Enisuoh’s profound impact, emphasizing her nurturing and loving nature. Captain Enisuoh, deeply moved, shared anecdotes of their close bond and recounted her annual Mother’s Day celebrations in Canada.

The burial marked not only a farewell but also a celebration of Madam Enisuoh’s life, revered by her children, family, and the community. Reverend Father Okonkwo acknowledged the Enisuoh family’s generosity, which had already transformed Agbere through their philanthropic endeavors.
