NPA: 29 Vessels Currently Discharging Fuel, Other Commodities at Lagos Ports

Lagos Ports Busy as 29 Ships Offload Petrol, Diesel, Containers, Others
29 Ships Berth at Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 29 ships are currently discharging petroleum products and other commodities at the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos.

According to the NPA, eight of the vessels are laden with petroleum products, including petrol, diesel, aviation fuel and bulk gas.

The authority added that the remaining 21 ships are discharging various cargoes such as buckwheat, fresh fish, trucks, containers, general cargo and base oil.

The NPA disclosed this in its latest shipping position report made available on Friday.
