The Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Worldwide has conferred former First Vice President, Olorogun Captain Anthony Onoharigho (PhD) as Life Patron, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the unity, progress, and development of the Urhobo Nation.
This appointment was announced in a letter dated and signed by Chief (Barr.) Ese Gam, President General of UPU Worldwide

The conferment is a testament to Olorogun Onoharigho’s exemplary leadership, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Urhobo people. As a distinguished son of Umiaghwa Abraka Kingdom, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, he has consistently demonstrated dedication, integrity, and outstanding contributions to community development and Urhobo advancement at both local and global levels.
Olorogun Captain Anthony Onoharigho(PhD) is also the Rector of Conarina Maritime Academy in Abraka, Delta State has expressed his gratitude to the UPU for finding him worthy of the appointment, assuring that he remains committed to promoting the Urhobo Nation at home and in diaspora. His appointment as Life Patron of UPU Worldwide is a recognition of his years of service and dedication to the Urhobo people.
