The 2025 Africa Forum and Conference on Sustainable Logistics and Green Transport Development kicked off in Kigali, Rwanda, with a call to action for African leaders to prioritize sustainable transportation solutions.
 Ibrahim A. Jibril, CILT International Vice President and Chairman of Africa Forum, emphasized the need for innovative and collaborative approaches to reduce carbon emissions, protect natural resources, and promote economic growth.
The conference explores electric mobility, smart logistics, renewable energy, and policies that can make a real difference on the ground. With Africa’s rapidly growing population and urbanization, the demand for efficient and sustainable transport systems is on the rise.
