The high-profile event, held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos, brought together key players in the maritime sector to celebrate excellence and dedication to industry growth.
Prince Oduntan, a respected voice in the freight forwarding and logistics industry, received the award in recognition of his remarkable contributions and unwavering commitment to professionalism. His recognition attracted a strong show of support from ANLCA chapters across the country, with representatives from Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onne, and beyond in attendance.
Among the dignitaries present was the ANLCA National President, Emenike Nwokeoji, who flew in from Port Harcourt to lead a delegation of top executives, including Board Members Demola Mumuney and Dayo Azeez, Patron Prince Taiye Oyeniyi, Chief Oye Ariyo, and members of the National Executive Committee (NECOM).
The event also witnessed a royal presence, as traditional rulers such as the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, and His Royal Majesty Oba Sejiro James of Kweme Kingdom in Badagry, graced the occasion to honour Prince Oduntan, a royal son of Ikorodu Kingdom.
A seasoned professional, Prince Oduntan is the Managing Director/CEO of Settle Systems Nigeria Limited, a company he founded in 1998 with offices in Apapa, Ikeja, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and other parts of the country. He holds a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Shipping.
Known for his integrity and advocacy for professionalism in freight forwarding, Prince Oduntan has remained a leading figure in Nigeria’s maritime landscape.
