…  reaffirms commitment to revolutionalise  freight forwarding industry in Nigeria 

The President of National Association of Government approved freight forwarders in Nigeria, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi has reaffirmed the commitment of NAGAFF to revolutionalise freight forwarding practise , ensure global standard practice and ease of doing business at the ports . 

The NAGAFF president said this at the 25th anniversary /₦500 million Naira permanent secretariat Acquisition project  launch held in Lagos .

Chief Esizi pointed out that the birth of NAGAFF in 1999  marked out the enthronement of professionalism which  led to  honest declarations that tripled  huge revenue Generations of the Nigeria customs service. 

” NAGAFF as a public advocacy group has ensured that all revenue due to Government through import duties and exercise fees are duly and promptly paid by all practitioners .

To realise this noble course , she set up various arms and committee that took day and night to realise this goal in collaboration with the customs she has helped to block all areas of Revenue leakages by ensuring that the Trading public is  compliant with the extant laws “– He said

He urged the Nigeria port Authority, Nigeria Shippers council and Nigeria customs service to step up their game and adhere to global standards to enable the country compete with other Maritime Nations in the world 

Dignitaries  at the well attended function donated generously towards the realisation of the ₦500 million Naira permanent secretariat Acquisition project of the NAGAFF. 

The chief launcher, Chief  Emelie Okika  and National President of NAGAFF both donated the sum of ₦20,000,000(Twenty million Naira) each . 

The chairman of the occassion , Chief Azubuike Ekweozor also  donated the sum of ₦7,000,000(seven million Naira) to support the new secretariat project . 

Over ₦100,000,000( One hundred million Naira was raked in to support the project 

The event which featured projector display of the secretariat project, cutting of Anniversary cake also featured wonderful display by a Group of Entertainers 

Speaker after speaker at the silver jubilee of NAGAFF extolled the virtues of the Founder, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam’. 

They described the Frontline freight forwarder and Founder of New Nigeria People’s Party, (NNPP) as a role model , a  Great man  of outstanding leadership qualities who delivered the milestone for the liberation of freight forwarders in Nigeria .
