VP Oduntan noted that under Nwokeoji’s leadership, the association has experienced a period of tranquility, which is crucial for business growth. Oduntan also commended Nwokeoji’s integrity, urging ANLCA members to emulate his exemplary business practices. He recalled how he joined others to encourage Nwokeoji to run for the presidency to bring about political leadership balance and administer a recovery process following prolonged conflicts.

Prince Oduntan emphasized the importance of integrity for customs brokers, urging ANLCA members to emulate Nwokeoji’s exemplary business integrity. He noted that Nwokeoji’s commitment to due process and compliance is a fine example for members to follow. “The kind of integrity he has exhibited is what every member of ANLCA should strive to emulate,” Oduntan stated.

Prince Taiye Oyeniyi, ANLCA Patron, commended Nwokeoji’s humility and firmness, urging NECOM members to operate as a united family. “We must work together as a team, putting aside our differences, to achieve greatness,” Oyeniyi advised. Chief Oye Ariyo offered heartfelt prayers for Nwokeoji, acknowledging the transformation within ANLCA under his leadership. “Your leadership has brought about a new era of peace and prosperity in ANLCA,” Ariyo noted.

Barrister Raymond Oyinmba, Principal Staff Officer (PSO) to the ANLCA President, described Nwokeoji as a “teacher, a true Christian, and molder of good character.” He praised Nwokeoji’s leadership style, which has brought an end to past crises in various chapters. “Your leadership has been a blessing to ANLCA, and we are grateful for your dedication and commitment,” Oyinmba stated

In his response, Nwokeoji expressed gratitude for the outpouring of tributes, attributing the sustenance of peace in ANLCA to God. He emphasized the importance of human effort in educating members and fostering understanding, while acknowledging that there is still work to be done to achieve absolute peace. “We must continue to work together to build a stronger, more united ANLCA,” Nwokeoji urged.

The ANLCA President confirmed that the planned retreat for chapter executives remains on course, with the next session focusing on continuous training and retraining for chapter chairmen. “The retreat aims to equip chapter leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles,” he said. The retreat is expected to enhance the capacity of chapter leaders to manage their chapters effectively and promote the interests of ANLCA members.
