The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has called on Christians to use the Easter celebration as a moment for sober reflection on the ideals of Christianity and commitment to personal and spiritual renewal. In his Easter message,
Dr. Mobereola noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ teach the values of sacrifice, hope, and spiritual renewal. He also urged Christians to renew their faith in God and hope in Nigeria.

The NIMASA DG expressed hope that “the Easter celebration, marking the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, will inspire renewed purpose, fresh beginnings, and continued sacrifice in service to the nation and humanity”.
He charged Christians to uphold the values of love, compassion, discipline, empathy, and sacrifice embodied by Jesus Christ, emphasizing that these values inspire patriotism, which is crucial for national growth and development.
Dr. Mobereola urged Nigerians to adopt these Easter values and work collectively towards building a safer and more prosperous nation.
