Nation Mourns: Tinubu Pays Tribute to Beloved Former President

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed shock and sadness over the passing of former President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, who died in a London hospital on Sunday, July 13th, 2025.

In a statement, President Tinubu described Buhari’s death as a great loss to Nigeria and the nation.President Tinubu said: “I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari. 

His contributions to our nation will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and the people of Nigeria.

”The President ordered that flags be flown at half-mast in honor of the former President.

A condolence book has been opened at the State House, Abuja, for Nigerians to sign and pay their respects to the late former President.
