The leadership of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has approved a change in the nomenclature of its “Trade War Advocacy Committee.”
This decision follows widespread requests from practicing freight forwarders who expressed the need for a more inclusive and constructive name. Consequently, the committee will now be known as the Trade Advocacy Committee of NAGAFF Headquarters, domiciled under the Office of the Founder.
The renaming reflects a commitment to fostering peace, collaboration, and improved productivity within Nigeria’s ports, in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President.
It is important to clarify that the former “Trade War Advocacy Committee” was not established to target any individual or organization. Rather, it was created as a platform to contribute positively to national economic growth and to support the Federal Government’s efforts toward making Nigeria greater.

This was contained in a statement signed and sent to Newspoint247 on Tuesday by
Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam
Founder, NAGAFF.
