The Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone C of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has marked a significant achievement with the decoration of 67 newly promoted Officers.
The Comptroller Bashir Balogun, Unit Controller of FOU Zone C https://newspoint247online.com.ng/customs-fou-zone-c-intercepts-contraband-worth-over-n1-billion-in-month/, has congratulated the beneficiaries, emphasizing that their promotions were a testament to their hard work and commitment to the service.
A total of 67 Officers received promotions, with three making the jump from Assistant Comptroller (AC) to Deputy Comptroller (DC), one from Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC) to AC, four from Superintendent of Customs (SC) to CSC, seven from Deputy Superintendent of Customs (DSC) to SC, 15 from Assistant Superintendent of Customs I (ASC I) to DSC, 17 from ASC II to ASC I, 18 from Inspector of Customs (IC) to ASC II, and two from Assistant Inspector of Customs (AIC) to IC.

Comptroller Balogun has urged the newly promoted Officers to see their elevation as a privilege and a challenge, emphasizing that their new ranks come with greater responsibilities and expectations.
The Unit Controller expressed gratitude to the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, and the Service’s management team for ensuring that merit was rewarded.
